Interested in Virtual Art Advisory Services for Your Home or Office? This is Why You Should Go For It!

“I wish I had just two more hours in the day to get everything done!”  How many times have you heard yourself or a friend say this?  There just never seems to be enough time!

What the Research Says

An interesting piece in the New York Times* highlights research “whose findings suggest that spending money to save time may reduce stress about the limited time in the day, thereby improving happiness.” We are pulled in so many different directions during the week. When we do have free time, it’s hard to get geared up for completing household chores. This down time is when we need to be refueling and recharging. So, knock something off your to-do list and hire a professional!

“People who spent money to buy themselves time, such as by outsourcing disliked tasks, reported greater overall life satisfaction,” according to Ashley Whillans, an assistant professor at the Harvard Business School and lead author of the study.

Virtual Art Advisory Services

Let me help take the pressure off your home to-do list and let’s get those wall decor projects finished! I am now offering virtual “in-home” consultations via FaceTime or Zoom!

During a virtual “in-home” consultation, we will discuss what walls in your home need a little extra attention. We will go over your personal style, your goals for the space, and your budget.

After this initial consultation, I get to work researching the perfect artwork. I gather between 5 and 10 options for consideration. Then, I present the options via an art proposal email, which includes pictures of the artwork, as well as any important information (title, artists name, medium, dimensions, and price point). Additionally, I make sure we consider all the details (such as framing and shipping).

After you have had time to review the email, I schedule a follow-up phone consultation. At this point, I like to go over the email, share my thoughts about particular selections, and answer any questions that a client may have.⁣

Finally, once a client has made a selection, I can either handle the purchasing process on his or her behalf or walk them through those final steps!⁣ These days, you can purchase artwork on-line or over the phone and then, have it shipped directly. And once a piece arrives, I am also happy to schedule one more follow-up consultation to go over how a piece should be installed.⁣
