Happy Weekend friends! Oh for the simple pleasure of strolling around an art gallery without a worry in the world! Throwing it back to this time last summer with this photo, when we visited to the newly opened Maggie O’Neill Studio at the Wharf. What a fun space! See what made me think of this visit in this week’s round up of my favorite finds + happenings!
First Up…
Have you ever wondered what it takes to stretch your own canvas? I had someone reach out and ask me about it this week. And luckily (it was so timely!!), DC artist Christine Olmstead just shared this awesome resource on her site with all the details.
In Case You Missed It…
I also shared a gorgeous Client Project on the site this week. This one is for anyone needing a little home office inspiration right now! Soft Color Block Paintings + Classic Gold Framing = Stunning Home Office View. I’m giving this one all the heart eyes.
Shop the Art…
It’s time to get your room ready for a dance party! The DC area artist Maggie O’Neill just released her NEW Disco Ball collection! Does it get any more fun than this?
Looking for a colorful abstract (or two!) to brighten up your home? Check out these works by Katie Schermbeck available through The Campbell Collective. Jewel Tone I and Jewell Tone II would make such a happy pair!
Speaking of abstract paintings, artist Allison Ford released her NEW Cloud Cover Collection. This series is going fast! As I write this, there are still 3 pieces available, including this super cheerful acrylic painting featuring vibrant yellow (did I mention that it’s ON SALE?).
I’m also loving this sweet + soft mini landscape by Amelia Rose Smith. It’s only 8×8 in. but it comes framed and ships free! Available through Dress the Room Charleston.
Top Knot + Big Sunglasses… this is my jam. The adorable pink frame is icing on the cake! Check out these works by Carrie Beth Waghorn available through Well + Wonder.
I also saw 3 paintings this week that I just wanted to dive into, perfect for a super hot summer day! Check out this painting, this painting, and this painting. Which one is your favorite???
Shop Framing…
Did you know that Framebridge makes it super easy to design and frame a gallery wall of your favorite photos? They have great layout ideas and I love how you can upload your digital photos directly to the site. I am currently helping a client select the photos and the layout for The Half Wall Grid (9 frames measuring 58×58 in. when installed). Cannot wait to see this project when it is up and hanging!!
Let Me Know…
I just finished one home office project and have just started another. So, I’ve been asking on the ‘gram this week, what touches have you added to your home office to make it a more productive + beautiful space? Let me know in the comments below!
As always, thanks for reading about my favorite finds and enjoy your weekend!!
