This client had a couple of spaces that they were interested in finding art for: one wall in their family room and two walls in their primary bedroom. They had also recently welcomed a new baby into the family (their second child!).
For the main space in the family room, we decided to commission DC area artist Christina Flowers to create a custom painting based on her Hope collection. The paintings from this collection are inspired by ideas of connection, family, warmth, love and community. Flower’s unique abstract style consisting of sweeping arcs and free-form shapes perfectly captures the loving spirit and embrace of this new family of four.

This client was also ready to transform their primary bedroom into a true retreat. I recommended a stunning original painting on panel for display over their dresser. The soothing shades of green and playful bird imagery complimented a wall of large windows that looked out into this client’s wooded backyard.
For over the bed, I suggested a pair of framed limited edition fine art prints. The placement of two vertical pieces is both unexpected and a bit more dramatic than one horizontal composition. I also recommended this gorgeous champagne silver metal frame to complete the styling.
