She recently repainted and wanted some help getting her artwork back up on her walls. This wall used to be robin’s egg blue! It was a surprise for his wife! ❤️ They picked up this piece on their honeymoon and brought the unstretched canvas home rolled up in a tube. Swim lessons for the mini-me, got to spend some fabulous time with family, discovered our new favorite brunch spot in Bethesda, planted a small pollinator garden, and hung one more set of curtains! Phew! Time to kick my feet up! Hope you all have had a beautiful weekend! And I spy a tired little guy in this photo 📸✨😍 . Only one more set of curtains to go and I am done! DIY Pro Tip 👉 hanging curtains yourself? Don’t feel like you have to do all the windows at one time! It’s HARD WORK hanging curtains (especially in plaster walls which can be tricky!) 💪 I limit myself to one window a day. The goal feels way more manageable and it lets my arm rest in between. In my experience, a tired arm + power drill leads to mistakes. Instead, I tackle a new window feeling fresh! 🙌 .
