Hey all! Are you looking for master bathroom art ideas? Try using artwork to add visual interest and to set a relaxing tone.
For a recent project, I was asked to find the perfect art for two blank walls on either side of a large, light-filled window in the client’s master bathroom. I wanted to add a pop of color, while also emphasizing this space’s spa-like feel.
The Artist: Amanda Tucker
For this project, I immediately thought of Amanda Tucker and her gorgeous and vibrant figurative paintings. If her name sounds familiar, you may remember that Tucker was one of the featured artists in the Instagram Holiday Ornament Giveaway that I co-hosted in 2020. She is known for her thoughtful treatment of the female form.
The first piece that I sourced was Divine, an 18×24 in. acrylic painting on paper.
The second piece that I sourced was Jocalynne, another 18×24 in. acrylic painting on paper.
The Framing: Classic, Gold, and Timeless
As paintings on paper, both of these pieces required framing before installation. I took them to the Framebridge at Bethesda Row, where I fell in love with this classic gold moulding. The framing is elegant and picks up several other gold accents in the room.
The Final Reveal
I love how this master bathroom turned out! These beauties by Amanda Tucker look like they just stepped out of the bath. You can also check out the Reel I posted to Instagram showing how this project came together: from delivery of the artwork to installation day.
