Hey all! Who needs some gorgeous home office inspiration right now? For a recent project, a client asked me to find artwork that would add a pop of color to a corner in her newly created home office. The answer? These beautiful original oil paintings on paper by artist Laurie Fisher, which I sourced from the on-line art gallery Jenner McGinn Studio.
Fisher’s work is all about color and balance. She creates finished pieces that are aesthetically pleasing and have a strong sense of equilibrium. Both of these qualities are perfect for setting the right tone in any office space.

Each painting measures 12×16 in. unframed. Small paintings on paper are a great way to acquire original artwork without breaking the bank! Paper pieces generally cost less than works on canvas. Just remember to factor in the cost of framing so that these pieces can be displayed!

I had these pieces custom framed using a timeless gold moulding. The framing is elegant and picks up several other gold accents in the room. I also had the paintings float mounted, so that none of the compositional detailing along the edges would be lost behind matting.

The result is STUNNING!! Both the client and myself are thrilled with how these pieces really completed the look of this elegant home office. Love Fisher’s work as much as I do? Shop all of her available original paintings on-line at Jenner McGinn Studio.
