First of all, THANK YOU so much to all of my clients who invited me into their homes and offices last year (either in person or virtually!). I am so grateful to have worked with each and every one of you! Without further ado, here are a few STANDOUT moments from 2020 that continue to inspire me – as I hope they will for you, too!

10. The One With the Framed Prints from Target…

(Set of 3) 12×12 in. Framed Canvas – Project 62 by Target
(Set of 2) 24×24 in. Perfect Land Framed Printed Canvas – Project 62 by Target

Would you ever know that these beauties are from Target?! I selected and installed two sets of art for this family room, highlighting the wall over the main couch and a sunny little corner next to a window. I especially love the matching natural wood floater frames that really tie the art all together. Gorgeous! Check out more of my favorite and super affordable Target art finds HERE.

9. The One from the Home Office Refresh…

Turning Tides by Jess Franks Love the look? Shop prints by Jess Franks HERE.

In the thick of the pandemic, a client reached out to me looking to give her home office a complete refresh. First, she repainted the walls this soothing shade of gray-green (Sherwin Williams Sea Salt). After that, I suggested this amazing fine art print by Jess Franks. It’s installed slightly off-center – weighted a bit to the left – to make room for a bookshelf that was also being added to this productive work space.

Next, we selected a super functional desk from Ballard Designs. Lastly, I installed her (and her hubs!) newly framed diplomas and that gorgeous round mirror from West Elm. Love love how it all came together!

8. The One With the Color Block Perfection…

Artwork by Laurie Fisher

This art installation was for another dreamy home office! I suggested these pieces by artist Laurie Fisher to turn this little nook into a serene oasis. Elegant custom gold frames completed this stunning look. Get all the details about this client project HERE.

7. The One with a Touch of Whimsy…

Artwork by Andreina Bates

This watercolor on paper by artist Andreina Bates really exemplified the zen (and doses of nature) that that we all needed during 2020. I completed this look with beautiful framing by Framebridge. Get all the details about this client project HERE.

6. The One from the Dining Room Makeover…

Get Lost by Jess Franks Love the look? Shop prints by Jess Franks HERE.

Home office, virtual school, eating spot for ALL. THE. MEALS… the dining room was the flex space that won the day during COVID. Since her family was using this space more frequently, this client decided to give her dining room a gorgeous makeover. We added a stunning print by Jess Franks (the same artist featured in #9!).

However, this client project is not finished just yet! Two more pieces are going to be installed, so make sure to check back in to see the final reveal!

5. The One Over the Piano…

Artwork by Nan Jones

I was immediately drawn to these mini abstracts in their striking warm-tone wood framing. The tendency is to frame contemporary abstracts in something sleek and modern. So, upon seeing these pops of periwinkle, pink, and mustard perfectly highlighted by a natural, earthy moulding, I fell in love. And luckily, so did my client! This trio of abstracts by Nan Jones makes the perfect focal point above her piano. Warm wood tones have never looked so good!!

4. The One That Completed a Main Floor Renovation…

This client recently completed a gorgeous main floor renovation of their home. The final step? Selecting the perfect artwork to adorn the walls!

First, I sourced 3 pieces from April Leila’s Serendipity Series for the entryway. Get all the details from this stage of the client project HERE.

After that, we focused on the main floor powder room. An eye-catching face by Kellie Lawler, complimented by two mini abstracts by Teresa Roche completed the look.

However, this client project is not finished just yet! One more statement piece is going to be installed, so make sure to check back in to see the final reveal!

3. The One That Transformed a Master Bedroom…

Artwork by Kaitlin Gray
Abstract Seascape pair by Caryn Owen Love the look? Shop the Abstract Seascape pair HERE.

This client was ready to transform their master bedroom into a true retreat. First, I suggested a pair of framed limited edition fine art prints for over their bed. Love the look? Shop the Abstract Seascape pair HERE.

Next, I recommended a gorgeous original painting on panel by Kaitlin Gray for display over their dresser. The bird imagery perfectly complimented a wall of amazing large windows that looked out into this client’s wooded backyard.

There are so many reasons why I love this space! Above all, it was my first completely virtual client project. From the selection of the artwork to guiding my client through the installation, this master bedroom retreat came together with the help of Zoom!

2. The One With Those Black Line Drawings…

Artwork by Kellie Lawler

For this client project, I needed to find pieces that would not get lost when set against this fantastic wallpaper. The challenge, however, was also finding pieces that would not visually fight with the bold leopard print design. The answer? These stunning black line figures by Kellie Lawler (in gorgeous custom framing!). Get all the details about this client project HERE.

1. The One Featuring the Perfect Commission…

Artwork by Christina Flowers

After sharing her work in a digital art proposal, my client fell in love with Christina Flowers’ paintings. We had identified a particular piece by Flowers that really hit the mark. The only problem? It was too large for my client’s space. The solution? A custom commission that used the original painting as a jumping off point for a completely new piece. The result? Simply stunning! Get all the details about this client project HERE.
